I Support A National Healthy Oceans Act
Polluted beaches, contaminated seafood, and fewer fish…our oceans are in trouble,
and the the longer we wait to fix these problems, the harder and more expensive it
will be.
We need national legislation right now that will coordinate efforts to protect
ocean areas so that beaches stay clean and fish and other ocean animals thrive.
I support a healthy oceans law that will:
- Establish a national policy to protect and restore our oceans before it’s too late.
- Provide federal leadership and funding to protect and restore ocean habitats.
- Coordinate federal, regional and state work to protect and restore ocean health.
